There is no one more powerful than a mother on a mission to help her children.
This is where our story begins. Peggy Burlison, a mother of two sons, was told the options for her child with a disability were not the same as the options for her other child. This strong willed and highly educated woman took this as a call to action and founded Bridges. She sought to create an agency that would focus on advocacy and providing quality services. We instill in our employees this passion Peggy had, which motivates them to always strive to do their best.

Because our family founders know and have experienced similar struggles with the families we serve, Bridges has focused our business model back on the unique needs of people and their families. We hold a fundamental understanding of what problems and challenges those with disabilities face. Our service delivery model reflects those experiences. From the very first meeting with our Client Advocacy and Intake Team, each individual is treated with dignity and respect; the way any family would want their loved one to be treated.
We have opportunities available for caring and enthusiastic people with a positive attitude and a willingness to learn about serving people with disabilities and a passion for sharing ideas about how we can better serve.
At Bridges, we encourage a culture of passion, fun and honesty: we are honored to serve people and we believe in training to the unique individual needs of each person we serve, so that they may have a rewarding, enriching and enjoyable life experience in their homes and communities. We welcome feedback from all of our employees about how we can better serve, in order to ensure all people we support achieve their own desired outcomes.
We would love for you to join our team!
